All licensees (salespersons and brokers) are required to complete 45 hours of continued education to renew their license. The renewal form can be completed online at www.dre.ca.gov through the eLicensing System or by filing out and submitting the renewal package received from the DRE. The soonest you can renew your license is 90-days prior to the expiration date. However, you may complete the continued education requirements any time within the 4-year license period. On-time renewal fee is $245, late fee $367. You have two years after your license expires to renew. After the two year grace period, you will have to take the State Exam again.
